Quiz Nights

The Church Committee has been running quiz nights in CCCC for several years and they are usually a sell out success. We usually operate with teams of six, which can be made up on the night or pre-arranged. We break for a hot supper after 2/3 rounds and the emphasis in question setting is for teams to have a good chance on scoring well. Target 80%.

The committee are planning the next event for Saturday May 2nd at 7.30, but it will depend on any restrications due to the coronavirus.

The Christmas Fair will take place on Nov 28th 2020

This is an annual event and one of the church's main fundraisers. The whole of CCCC and the church will be given over to stalls and activities for people of all ages, Teas will be served throughout the afternoon and there will be plenty of opportunities to win prizes in a raffle and tombola as well as the competitions run by the children.

Donations of cakes, prizes etc are very welcome. Books, CDs, good quality toys, and miscellaneous items which have a good chance of being sold can be brought on the morning of the fair between 10 and 12. If you need help please ring Bryan Dexter on 781535.

QUIZ NIGHT in Christ Church Community Centre which raised £750 to help pay for the " Ditch Project"

 Ditch Project

Due to the many activities taking place in CCCC and the church some cars have had to be parked on the road opposite the car park.  The ditch on the near side has now been filled in to provide extra car parking space where visitors do not have to cross the road.  This was a joint project with the committee of CCCC and partly funded by donations from the Parish Council, NYCC and the Knabs Ridge Fund.
