There is a vacancy for the position of Parish Clerk.  This is for an average 20 hours per month and paid at around £10 per hour. There is also the possibility of being Clerk for a neighbouring parish for another 16 hours a month and thus making the job even more worthwhile.

CLERK TO THE COUNCIL   DARLEY AND MENWITH PARISH COUNCIL

 If you are looking for paid part-time employment that involves working from home, with some evening meetings; if you live locally and would like to become more involved in the community; if you have admin experience and are happy working with computers; if you enjoy communicating with people; if you are enthusiastic and self-motivated

This could be the role for you. The post is for an average 20 hours per month and will be paid according to the National Joint Council payscales and will be at least point SPC20 (currently £10.10 per hour) according to experience

 

AND

There is also the opportunity of being appointed as Clerk to a neighbouring parish for an additional 16 hours per month
